Bus Transportation for Students in Exceptional Education

ESE Students: School transportation services for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students are provided in accordance with the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
ESE Self-Contained Programs: Transportation for students participating in an ESE behavior-support, self-contained program is provided under specific guidelines and determined by the Exceptional Education Student Services Team. Once the ESE Team conducts an evaluation, they send requests to the Transportation Department. The Transportation Department does not place students in schools and will not accept stop location changes directly - the Exceptional Education office must be contacted first. For placement in an ESE self-contained program, or any changes in address or phone number, please call ESE Placement at 904-348-7760, option 1. They are open Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
