    Help English Language Learners (ELLs), grades K-12, to effectively understand, speak, read, and write English in an academic setting, as required by both federal and state regulations.

    Ayudar a los principiantes del Lenguaje (idioma) de Inglés (ELLs) desde el Jardín Infantil hasta la segundaria, para que efectivamente puedan aprender a entender, hablar, leer y escribir ingles en un ambiente académico,  tal como es requerido por regulaciones federales y estatales. 


    Provide a Dual Language program starting in Kindergarten where together English language learners and English speakers learn English and Spanish.

    Proveer un programa Dual de Lenguaje empezando en la Jardinería Infantil donde juntos los principiantes de ingles, aprendan inglés y los que ya hablan inglés aprendan español.   


    Enhance language skills for ESOL students and their parents through resources outside the classroom, and provide insight into American culture at the Center for Language and Culture (CLC).

    Realizar las habilidades de lenguaje para los estudiantes de ESOL y sus familiares vía el uso de recursos fuera del salón de clase, y proveer una vista interna a la cultura Americana en El Centro de Lengua y Cultura (CLC).  


    Encourage parent participation in their children’s education through the ESOL Parent Leadership Council (PLC).

    Animar a los padres a participar en la educación de sus hijos por vía del programa Consejo de Padres Líderes (PLC) de ESOL.

    The International Children's Digital Library offers children ages 3-13 free access to the best available children's literature in more than 40 languages.


    FloridaStudents.org  is a resource database offering links and material from over the internet to support students learning in language arts, mathematics, science, and civics.  Each content area is broken down into grade level specific content and provides resource material aligning with the state standards.
