Welcome to Henry F. Kite Elementary School! We are elated to announce that we earned an "A" school grade from the Florida Department of Education for the 2019 school year. This an achievement that our students and staff worked very hard for, and one that we will work even harder to maintain. However, more importantly than a school grade, our Kite family continues to build on a rich history while ensuring our students are prepared for elementary school and beyond.
At Henry F. Kite Elementary School, our goal is to provide our students with both academic and social opportunities to empower each learner to reach their highest potential. This includes providing excellent instruction and academic support, extracurricular activities, and exposure to some of Jacksonville's leaders. In order to fulfill our vision, all stakeholders (parents, community, and faith-based partners) are asked to lend their time and talents to ensure students receive the individual support needed to succeed. This can be done by volunteering, supporting daily academics and homework, attending school events and maintaining consistent communication.
