Welcome to George Washington Carver Elementary School where I am honored to serve our parents, teachers, students and community stakeholders this upcoming 2021-2022 school year.  I am honored that you have chosen GWC for your child’s educational journey. It is my belief that all children deserve a quality education and have access to all learning opportunities. We are a community of learners that promote academic excellence. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and academic environment for our students.

To help keep you informed about all the good things happening at George Washington Carver, I encourage you to frequently visit our website and read our monthly newsletter, The Carver Gazette. The Carver Gazette will contain the school calendar listing activities and events, and other important school and district information. I encourage you to post the Carver Gazette on your refrigerator for easy reference.

Also, this year we will embody the theme and characteristics of the movie producers, directors, film crew, screenwriters, and editors to "RISE Up to VIP Status" in reading, writing, math, science, and conduct. Students will demonstrate Respect, Integrity, Self control, and Excellence as they rise to meet state standards.  

Together we form a strong partnership to ensure that all GWC students receive an exceptional education. I look forward to continuing to work with you this school year and many school years to come.
