Dear Viking Nation,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  I am grateful and excited about leading Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts (DCSoMA) aka Viking Nation.  I strongly believe that DCSoMA is more than a Magnet School.  It is the academic epicenter of learning and the standard bearer of excellence with the credentials to back it up.  We represent all that is great about Duval County Public Schools and the communities that we serve.  We are second to none and charting new paths.  

Thank you for allowing me to lead Viking Nation and guide our ship into a new era!
