Julie Hemphill

Julie Hemphill is celebrating her 21st year in education this school year. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree from University of Florida in English with minors in Secondary Education and Teaching English as a Second Language. Her Master's degree is in Educational Leadership from University of North Florida. She taught English at Dunnellon High School in Marion County, Florida and at Paxon School for Advanced Studies in Jacksonville where she also served as an Instructional Coach. Mrs. Hemphill was voted Teacher of the Year at Paxon and was a С��ߣ semi-finalist in 2004-2005. Mrs. Hemphill has served as an Assistant Principal at Mandarin Middle School and Stanton College Preparatory School. Presently, she is the Principal at the finest middle school in the county – Kernan Middle, where we will all soar above and beyond all expectations!
