Enterprise Learning Academy (ELA) was erected in 1998. The school originally planned to use the ECOLOGICAL, FUTURES, AND GLOBAL (EFG) CURRICULUM: A PROJECT BASED APPROACH to learning. At that time, utilizing project based instruction helped determine that ELA would be a futuristic school. The name Enterprise was adopted with that in mind. The modern digital infrastructure and beautiful interior support a PK-5 student body of 800 plus students. Superintendent John Fryer and Assistant Superintendent Levi Macintosh were district leaders in 1998 when ELA was conceptualized and constructed. Under the principalship of Sheri Turchi, students were welcomed August 25, 1998. When she retired in 2005, Cynthia S. Thompson assumed the principalship for three years until her retirement in 2008. Sheridan Brown continued the principalship from 2008-2013 until her retirement. Aszloyn Wakefield, Ed.S. was the principal from 2013 - 2016.  After Mrs. Wakefield, Mrs. Sylvia Embry became the principal from 2016 to 2019. Following Mrs. Embry is Jeffrey Collins.  Colllins has continued serving as principal  of ELA since 2019.
