New Apps Coming Soon

What time is my child's bus arriving at the bus stop?

Was my child released as a walker or a car rider?

Were there any disciplinary issues today in my child's class?

Are my kids actually doing algebra homework on their laptop?

Imagine yourself as a parent asking the questions above. Now imagine using an app to easily find the answers. This will soon be a reality thanks to four new apps the district is making available to families this year. See app details below.

Parents can download the apps now. But please do not sign-in/create an account unless directed to do so by your child's school.

The apps

  1. : This is an easy-to-use platform that allows for seamless communication between you and your child's school. Through it, classroom teachers and administrators can share direct messages, announcements, alerts, documents, multimedia, and more.
    •  Note: Level of use of this app may vary from school to school. Parents will need a linked parent account to sign into this app.

  2. : Parents can follow their child's bus in real-time, know when their child boarded on and off the bus, and quickly look up their child's transportation info, such as the bus number and the addresses of each stop.
    • Note:  Parents must have registered their child to ride a school bus in order to use this app. Parents will also need a linked parent account to sign into this app.

  3. : This app is being implemented in all elementary schools to provide an easy and safe way for parents to manage and monitor their child's school dismissal. Parents will receive alerts on how and when their child was dismissed.
    • Note: This app may also be used at some secondary schools. Parents can contact their child's school to verify. Parents will need a linked parent account to sign into this app.

  4. : Through this app, parents will be able to monitor their child's activity on any district-issued device while being used at home.
    • Note: Parents are unable to monitor district-issued devices while being used at school. Monitoring already takes place by the district.

Can I download these apps now?

Yes, parents can download the apps from their mobile app store now. However, we ask parents to not create an account unless their child's school instructs them to do so.

The district is putting a "single-sign-on" (SSO) process in place for all the apps (with the exception of apParent). Either the district will notify families when it's in place districtwide. Or your child's school willl notify you when it's available schoolwide. We will notify families when this process is complete.  Once the SSO is active, all parents will sign in using their linked parent account credentials (email and password).

It is critical that all parents have an up-to-date linked parent account in order to access Bloomz, Edulog, and Pikmykid.

How can I prepare?

  • Learn more about the apps using the links above.
  • Create a linked parent account if you don't already have one. Parents will not be able to use the apps if they do not have a linked parent account.
