At GRASP, we want parents with children who may have dyslexia understand that their children may have a unique way of learning and processing of information that sets them apart. Their way of learning does not have to stop them from achieving their highest goals, they simply require the highest standards of learning that education can provide. Dyslexia can cause learning difficulties with reading, writing, spelling and math. You may not realize that your child’s instruction does not match their learning style. What you may see is anxiety, depression or anger, as frustration mounts because your child is not learning. We know your child is intelligent, they just learn in a different way.
