Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Casey Turano and I am looking forward to being your child’s counselor at Mamie Agnes Jones. I have been teaching children ages pre-k through 5th grade for 12 years and a private counselor for 3 years but this will be my first year as school counselor.

As the counselor for your child, many services are available such as counseling for academic, career, personal and social needs. I will meet with your child in the classrooms and in small groups. Individual counseling is also available. We will discuss a variety of topics such as character building, leadership, stress management, conflict resolution, abuse prevention, college and so much more.

If your family has any needs or if your child is experiencing any difficulty or concern, please feel free to contact me in the counseling office.
