As part of The Ortega News Crew, students run the audiovisual equipment and deliver the morning announcements.  Students recite the pledge, read the lunch menu and communicate all important announcements.  All crew members learn to work the equipment as well as have the experience of being in front of the camera.  News Crew is available to 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders with a Conduct grade of an A or B and an average of a C in all subject areas.
