• Attention all new students for the 2022-2023 school year!

    Congratulations on your acceptance to Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts. We are excited to have you join our family.

    If you have been placed on the waitlist, no worries. We often call students off of the wait list throughout the summer and up through the first week of the school year. There is no way to determine how many students may be called off of the wait list as that changes from year to year. Parents- please be patient as the school cannot tell you if your son/daughter will be called off of the wait list or how quickly we may have additional seats.
     
     

    Bus transportation for the 202-2023 school year

    Summer Reading for 2022-2023

    Summer reading is a fundamental part of the curriculum at Darnell-Cookman at the beginning of each school year. Not only is it a way to ensure that students do not lose skills over the summer, it is also a way for students to preview what they will learn in the new school year. Given the advanced and accelerated nature of our curriculum, summer reading/assignments are required at every grade level. Students can expect to be given an assignment or quiz as soon as the new school year begins on the summer assignments.
