    Room 123 During Lunch, Twice a Month

    Students learn what it looks like to approach life from a biblical perspective. The club's key verse is Psalm 91:4 - "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection". In our 30-minute lunch meetings, there are interactive games, free lunch, and youth pastors share a life application bible lesson.     5000 Role Models of Excellence

    Room/Portable 846, Every Tuesday 2:15-4:15 

    The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project aims to intervene in the lives of minority male youth in an effort to provide them with positive role models and experiences that will empower them to make good choices, encourage healthy living, be responsible, be respectful, and achieve their goals. To become a member, a minority male (not exclusive) must attend school at a participating 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project School, complete an application and parent consent form.     Brain Brawl

    Room 128, Twice a Week, Starts in September

    Students team up to participate in the Superintendent's Academic Challenge. Our team will play against other С³óߣ teams for the chance to win the competition. We will start holding practices in September, twice a week. Depending on student availability, the days may fluctuate.

    D.E.C.A  - Distributive Education Club of America

    An organization of students enrolled in the course Culinary Arts and Hospitality and Tourism class and related courses. The club’s general purpose is to prepare students for advancement to the next level of career and college readiness. This club is associated with С³óߣ's Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.     Drama Club, International Thespian Society

    Room 240, Every Tuesday 2:15 - 4:00

    Drama club is Troupe # 3341 of the International Thespian Society.  This club offers an opportunity for both social interaction and development of theatrical skills for students who share these interests.  Short scenes, full play productions, and building scenery are just a few of the club's activities.  Some members travel to district and state festivals with prepared scenes. The drama club often provides technical theatre to support other events in the school auditorium.

    Gay-Straight- Alliance (GSA)

    GSA is a social and community service oriented club that focuses on the promotion and welfare of the LGBTQ student body and the Allies that support these students. It is to provide a safe space where LGBTQ students are free from harassment and to learn more about the LGBTQ community. It is also where Allies can also learn how to be more empathetic LGBTQ issues. We are a place where community service, action and being a safe space is emphasized, and individuality is respected and valued.

    Golden Goddesses and Gents, Dance and Majorette Team 

    Majorette Team (Fall Football Season) - Auditions are held during March of the previous year with select auditions held before start of school.     Junior Civitan

    Junior Civitan is an international service organization whose main focus is service to youth and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.The purpose of Junior Civitan is to give its members the opportunity for leadership training, personal growth, and fun group activities, all while improving schools and communities through community service with a focus on living the Golden Rule in all human relationships.  Volunteer service events can be used on college applications, scholarship  and job applications.  Additionally, Civitan Scholarships are offered to senior members on the local, district and international levels.     National English Honor Society

    Sandalwood's new NEHS chapter is open to high-achieving students who have demonstrated exceptional ability in such areas as literary analysis, media studies, composition, and creative writing. NEHS will meet alternating Guthrie's (#117) and Peters' (#133) rooms.

    National Honor Society

    Amphitheatre, 2nd Thursday of the Month

    Membership is open to any 10th, 11, or 12th grade student who enters the Chapter with a minimum 3.300 unweighted GPA and is only available once a year as school begins. Induction follows in the Fall. Community Service Hours are the backbone of Sandalwood's NHS. Graduates are recognized at Commencement by either gold stoles or cords.
