The mission of The Office of School Culture & Climate Support is to assist schools in providing a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment in which students can learn and teachers can teach. Focus is placed on the use of positive behavior interventions and school-based disciplinary strategies that reduce or eliminate the need to use suspension as a disciplinary option, build social emotional skills and  increase academic success through  professional development and follow-up.
