• Duval County Public Schools Foster Care Program

The Foster Care program in Duval County Public Schools seeks to support students who are no longer in the care of their parents due to being at-risk, neglected, or abandoned while in their parents’ care. Support services are provided through district social workers and external agencies. These staff members work collaboratively to assist students with home placement, school enrollment, and transportation. Social workers continue to monitor the attendance, discipline, and academic progress of children in care while enrolled in our district.
