Crisis Aware Grant provides crisis/suicide prevention awareness training to FSS Therapists, School Social Workers, School Counselors and School Psychologists to quickly identify any student at any school with a crisis-level mental health concern and provide de-escalation strategies to keep the student safe while connecting to appropriate resources.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a 2-day training teaching how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive. These skills are valuable skills can be utilized inside or outside of the school setting with a youth or an adult.

LivingWorks Start teaches trainees to recognize when someone is thinking about suicide and connect them to help and support through a 90-minute online interactive training session.

Project RISE is a grant that was awarded to Duval County Public Schools to examine ways to reduce inequities in student environments, address discipline disproportionality, improve teacher well-being and stress management, improve school climate and decrease emotional and behavioral problems. This work is implemented in 2 cohorts of 4 identified Middle Schools per cohort. There is an Interconnected Systems Framework Coach and 2 RISE clinicians working with school and community partners utilizing data based decision making to identify and support interventions for students in need.

In collaboration with Hope Street, С³óߣ Behavioral Health is implementing Trust-Based Relational Invervention (TBRI) as part of the ReCAST grant. The purpose of this program is to assist high-risk youth and families and promote resilience and equity in communities that have recently faced civil unrest through implementation of evidence-based violence prevention, and community youth engagement programs, as well as linkages to trauma-informed behavioral health services.

The goals of ReCAST include:

• Building a foundation to promote well-being, resiliency, and community healing through community-based participatory approaches
• Strengthening the integration of behavioral health services and other community systems to address the social determinants of health
• Creating more equitable access to trauma informed community behavioral health resources
• Ensuring that program services are culturally specific and developmentally appropriate
